Is it possible to change volume control to be Linear instead of Logarithm?
I prefer Linear way better!
Logarithm's change is too sensitive at extremes (max|min) and almost imperceptible inbetween.
Thanks!
Both volume sliders on the default UI behave as linear by default. If you want logarithmic, the best way to get it is to use the scrollwheel on the volume section of the status bar.
Sounds like the contrary...

To my ears the fb2k volume change is logarithmic.
Others players' volume control sounds linear.
Sounds like you need to re-think what's actually going on. Both of foobar2000's graphical volume sliders operate linearly when clicked and dragged, which results in non-linear gain value change in dB. Both sliders operate logarithmically when the scrollwheel is used with the mouse pointer over top of them. This results in a linear gain value change in dB.
This is irrelevant. There is no functional difference. Any gain value can be achieved with either.
