Foobar Ipod Manager Management

Hello all, I'm not sure whether this is the right place on this forum to post, or the right forum to post on, but if not, the mods should do something about it, please.  I installed foobar2000 and its Ipod manager, along with foowhatever.dll, iphonecalc.dll, and the ipod support from within the iTunesinstaller.exe.  Even after all of this though, I'm still unable to use my iPod with foobar.  I'm doing this in Windows of course and have an Ipod Nano 7G which is apparently compatible with the Foobar Ipod Manager, but I still can't get it to work.  What am I doing wrong?  If this doesn't work I'll have to install Gentoo.

I don’t use foo_dop so can’t advise on that. The official thread for this (note: abandonware) component should be not far down the subforum this thread is now in, so if you haven’t seen that yet, reading at least some of the recent pages might point you in the right direction.

Otherwise, I doubt it’ll be long before someone replies to this thread with an explanation if this is a known issue or some suggestions if it’s not.
