External hard drive music library on TCL. TV

Hello Every one,
I have TCL TV C755, and I am using it as a media player ad am conect on a sound system, I was using Foobar2000 for listening music on, recently after the latst update of the version 1.6.7, the app could not find my music library that I am putting on external hard drive connected to my TCL TV, before the update it was working very well, but now ithe app can not be find the library so its ldose not apear so I can add it, while am give all the premissions from the settings of the tv to the app but still dose not work st all.
Any Suggestions?

Nothing essential changed in recent versions regarding mass storage access. Unfortunately, Android has spectacularly poor support for removable storage, the apps are at mercy of operating system limitations + vendor specific bugs.
It's less problematic to have your media on a network share that foobar2000 can read, using SMB/FTP/WebDAV/UPnP.
It would help if you could post screenshots of what is shown when trying to add your external hard drive, perhaps I can work something out.
Also post top console log lines (with system version info of your TV).

Nothing exceptional, just the external hard drive dose note shown in the App, even when I am trying to adding it manually, only the internal storage are accessible by Fobaar2000.
All the other apps working properly with the same hard drive, clearly the problem is in Fobaar2000.

I assume your TV runs Android 11 or newer.
Please install foobar2000 mobile v1.6.8 - available soon in Google Play beta, already available as standalone download, it uses new modern methods to ask the system for mounted mass storage.
