Support - (fb2k) / Re: 2.25 preview uPnP bug
Last post by clark8888 -
change prefrerred format to FLAC, but uPnP renderer still receive stream.wav.  768khz has no noise any more.  But pausing problem not solved.

Go to:
- Preferences > Networking > UPnP > Streaming to Devices

In the field "Configuration":
- in the latest section for the manufacturer "foobar2000 media renderer"
- parameter "preferred format"
- change its value from default "OggFLAC" to "FLAC" or "WAV" or "LPCM".

And come back with information if this works.

General - (fb2k) / make songs/folders more frequent
Last post by nicbentulan -
in listening to music, how do listen to songs at various frequencies as follows? suppose i have a folder call this folderA of 10 songs and another folder call this folderB of 90 songs. i could artificially create a playlist in windows media player where i add folderA to the playlist 9 times and then folderB just once. so the frequency of each folder is 50% each. i would like to know alternative methods with foobar or otherwise please. the you.com chatbot also suggested i install the random pools component, but i don't quite see how to use it here.

and preferably i don't have to keep manually updating the playlist. i just add let's say a song to folderA then the playlist automatically adds that song 9x. and then if it's to folderB then the playlist automatically adds that song just 1x.

3rd Party Plugins - (fb2k) / Re: JSP3 to SMP/JSsplitter wrapper
Last post by regor -
Updating again since I have been attaching a wrong set of JS smooth samples all this time (JS Smooth Browser was fine though). Now they are the latest ones from JSP3.

Attached the same examples than first post with the latest update of the wrapper (zip file).

See notes about lodash here:
https://hydrogenaud.io/index.php/topic,126859.msg1056366.html#msg1056366

See how to apply the wrapper to any script here:

- Added a workaround for JSP3 lowercase access to handle lists and handles properties. JSP engine doesn't care if you access properties like RawPath using the actual key or 'rawpath', but that crashes on any modern JS engine.

3rd Party Plugins - (fb2k) / Re: JScript Panel
Last post by Tropoje -
@marc2k3  could you please create a package with your scripts Smooth Browser, Smooth Playlist Manager, Smooth Playlist, so that they can be used in JSplitter? I use Library Tree script which runs on JSplitter and I would have everything together, I wouldn't have to specially install JScript Panel 3 to use your scripts on it.

Ehm... that's the files provided at JSP3, so whatever it is at JSP3, it's supposed to be there. Unless I added by error an earlier version. Will check it.

Can not help anymore, I don't use those scripts.

EDIT: somehow the smooth playlist sample provided was wrong, the other 2 are fine. Fixing it right now.

If this is closed source 'feature'. I have 0 trust.
If you click the link you will find a "Sources.7z" that hopefully has what it suggests, even if it was said to be obsolete.

Where is latest source code of such plugin?
Also IIRC this plugin uses slower sinc algorithm of secret rabbit resamplers.
Also I found original developer blog post and his love for this forum is "enormous" as obviously there was source code license violation made by one of devs here.
