Quick test of 2 weird codecs: MP1 and MIO

This is just a quick test of 2 weird codecs: MP1 (MPEG layer 1) and MIO.
But:

You said that MP1 is weird, right?
Actually not, but it's not as widely used as MP2 and MP3. MIO, on the other hand is so weird that only it's own player and the Winamp plugin can play it.

Codecs tested:
MP1: SCMPX 1.6.0 and wav2mp 1.1
MIO: The converter from https://www.rarewares.org/rrw/files/others/mio-sample.lzh

Bitrates tested:
MP1: 32, 64, 128, 256, 352 kbps
MIO (approx): 12, 16, 28, 32, 48, 64, 112, 128 kbps

Music tested:
La-La-La Lava Ch-Ch-Ch Chicken from Minecraft Movie (but 24 second version to follow TOS)

Results:
MP1 sounds watery at lower bitrates. It sounds very good only at 256 and 352 kbps.
MIO sounds good, even better than MP3. At 28 and 32 kbps, it sounds like MP3 at 64~80 or sometimes 96 kbps. But not as good as HE-AACv2 and xHE-AAC.

But don't use MIO. Just use xHE-AAC and HE-AACv2 instead.
Attached ZIP with original sample.
If you can't play MIO, https://www.rarewares.org/rrw/files/others/mio-sample.lzh has a player in it!
