I cannot make Foobar show songs in chronological order.

Hi.

I've been watching videos and reading the documentation but boy, I'm so behind this stuff and Foobar is so deep that I keep going nowhere.
I have only one folder with all my music. I just want to see everything sorted in alphabetical order by Artist and chronologically by Album Year and then Track Order.

As you can see in the pic, in some albums the tracks are in correct order, in other albums not.
I have to keep fiddling with the Year or Album and Track Number tabs to get things in order every time I open Foobar.

What should I do?

In "by folder structure" view the playlist is sorted by %path% - folders and filenames, rather than tags. Your filenames need to begin with %tracknumber% to be sorted by track number. (And possibly %discnumber% before that, depending on multi-disc album folder structure).

foobar can rename your files quickly using File Operations if files are tagged correctly. (Select all tracks > right-click > File Operations > Rename...) See screenshots at end of wiki page, under "File name pattern" use '...' button to select a pattern that begins with nn or d.nn (etc)
