Converter takes an unexpected pause...

With both 2.24.2 and now 2.24.3 there is an issue with the converter. I typically convert an album of tracks at a time and most commonly FLAC 24/96 to FLAC 16/44 using the FLAC executable that is included in the "Converter Pack". When the converter gets to about 80-85%, it stops there for about 20 seconds before completing. Pretty sure this was not how earlier versions worked.

This on foobar2000 32-bit build.

Have you checked Task Manager's performance view, or Resource Monitor's disk performance when this happens? It sounds like a disk cache might be full and needs time to write old contents to the drive before allowing new data to come in.

Thanks, I'll check for that next time.
