abcde - Musicbrainz - don't find CD but is there

hello

i do use abcde to copy my Music CD to HD

on some CD the programm checks with Musicbrainz and can't find the CD.

if i go to the Homepage - i find the CD

is there a way to start abcde and tell which information to pick?

and yes i thinks it is the wrong place to ask in FLAC but don't now where to put it

Well a CD lookup will fail because there are no discids attached to that release.

Some applications might let you lookup via an artist/album search but I really have no clue about what you are using.

edit: maybe you can take a look at Picard.

installed picard
registerd to musicbrainz

but still can't add a toc number / Disc-ID

maybe i will have to wait a bit to connect it!
and at the end i should be able to copy the cd with abcde

It's not THAT hard to manually type-in the information.  ;)

I generally use MP3Tag (on Windows) to add, edit, or correct metadata (it works with all the popular formats, not just MP3).  In some cases MP3Tag can find the information online and automate the process.

Or most player applications allow you to manually edit metadata.

the question is more the information are in musicbraiz why on some rare cd it is not working.

marc2k3 has fully answered your question.

There are tons of releases where people did not associated them DiscID. I myself added around a 100+ DiscID to release whose CD-s I had.
