Just noticed by chance that the component may be installed on foobar v1.6 despite not being supported, and then it crashes when adding the panel to the layout. I thought I was using the v2 version and only found my error at that point.

I would say the component should simply refuse to load in such case, like other components do.

I have a probably dumb question. I would like to have the CamillaDSP GUI (a linux DSP on an rPi5, in my case at http://192.168.0.204:5005/gui/index.html) in a webview window in Foobar. I run foobar on a separate windows pc, which all works fine. But to tweak the DSP I have to open a separate browser window, so having the GUI in Foobar itself would be nice.

Can this be done? And what html code would I need to use. I've never used html before, so I'm really out of my depth.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
