foo_youtube issue, please help

Any help toward getting youtube playing through foobar however possible would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Are any of you able to do so using foo_youtube?

Yes, download and point it to yt-dlp.exe. Check "Prefer yt-dlp over internal analyzer", under Preferences/Tools/Youtube Source/Maintenance.

I would suggest that you also get foo_mpv. It's better when it comes to synch issues, etc.

And, I also suggest adding ffmpeg to Windows' Environment Variables. And, configuring it under Playback/Decoding.

Truth be told, I prefer to just download Youtube (etc.) videos (individually or in bulk), using Foobar and then playing them locally. For that, you can use foo_run in conjunction with the aforementioned tools.

Cheers.
