best amplifier for my speakers.......

Hi everyone.this is my first post here, even though ive been a long time reader of topics that interest me.

Im new to all this audio stuff, and i hope my latest purchase has put me in the right direction to getting somewhere decent.

I have recently came into posession of some speakers, and was wondering if any of you have them, and would like some recommendatios on what amp etc you run them with.

I am not really too concerned with home theater performance, i listen to 2 channel stereo and hardly ever movies etc.But im pretty sure the set i got is geared more toward home theater.

I have a pair of AAD C-800i
                      AAD C-600i
                      AAD C-100i

And also 1x AAD C-10 subwoofer.

Currently im running the C-800i through a sony STR-DB795 av reciever in 2 channel stereo, connected to my pc.I did have them connected to an old technics SU-V4 which i love, but something went pop and now there's no sound but it still has power though......

i also had the C-600i connected to the b channel of the STR-DB795, but the sound was too much when i ran them in a+b (but they sounded better than the c-800i i thought), could this mean the amp i am using doesnt power the bigger speakers properly?, as the smaller ones had a sound that seemed nicer (to my ears anyway).

Anyway i would just like some idea what i should be looking at to maybe get the best out of the C-880i speakers..............

I know my pc needs a few upgrades to get good sound, but im really interested in getting a proper 2 channel amp that will power the speakers.......any help would be awesome, thx!!!!!!!!!!!!
