Run via W7 Task Scheduler: no process/icon, trying to relaunch = error

I've been trying to get FB2 to star with windows using Task Scheduler. The problem I'm encountering is that FB2 will start with Windows, but there is no entry in processes or services, and no icon on the task bar. So it starts, but there is no way to interact with it. Trying to start it again results in an error--cannot find source directory.  I've moved away from using the start folder, since it's now deprecated and it's much easier keeping track of schedules using one tool. However, if the only way to get FB2 running correctly at Win7 start, I can use the start folder again.

Sounds like it is running either hidden or on the wrong user account. Make sure that under the General tab of the task that:
  • When running the task, use the following user account: is set to your local account.
  • Run only when user is logged on is selected.
  • The Hidden check box is unchecked.

If that does not work, we need more information about the task settings.

I would suggest to either use the registry or startup start menu folder to set user startup items (they still work!), I'm sure there are programs out there to make it more user friendly.

I think I'm an idiot. I had hidden checked, I think. It works perfectly now. Thanks!
