In search of a editable CUESHEET maker

I know that there is Ardour to export an 40 min speech as FLAC, with a newly created cuesheet, if I insert CD markers in silence parts in the waveform. For a CD speech, the listening will be better if split in 7 or 8 tracks, in case the listener got lost somewhere.

I was wondering if there is an application where you could load up the FLAC or WAV file, and manually inserting markers in silence parts and exporting it as a cuesheet. That's all.

(The Audacity labels feature would be a no-go to me since it will export multiple files with no cuesheet).

Any help will be very appreciated.

You didn't say your OS, but assuming that mentioning strictly Linux tools means you are on it, one way could be to use gwc http://sourceforge.net/projects/gwc/ as a GUI for marking and exporting cdrdao toc file. Then this toc file can be converted to cue sheets with cuetools http://developer.berlios.de/projects/cuetools for example.
It's not some perfect way but better then nothing. "Linux GUI" is so primitive, and audio applications even worse

Yes, it is Linux my OS. This is a audio recording workstation. It will make use of  Kubuntu, Ardour and K3B. There will be supporting apps like Audacity, etc. The function of this machine is just to record 30 minute long speeches, and after finishing it, a burned audio CD must be ready in 10 minutes more or less. That is why I am deploying Ardour for the moment.

Thanks for the additional information on the applications.

I come across another editor that seems better to me for annotation end exporting TOC: http://wavbreaker.sourceforge.net/
