Can't Exclude .cue Files From Media Library

When I use foobar, I need to see a highly informative representation of my file system. I stick to a rigorous naming and tagging convention; - All files are lower case - I only use western latin alpha-numeric characters - I only use space, dash, full stop, parenthesis (curved brackets), and no other special characters. - A few other peculiarities not worth mentioning. I deal with CUE+IMAGE files like this example: _________________________ Old name: this is a very long filename and death to all non latin (germanic or french or slavic or russian) characters.ape this is a very long filename and death to all non latin (germanic or french or slavic or russian) characters.cue ________________________ New Name: 01.cue.ape 01.cue I go to foobar preferences > media library and in "filetypes to exclude" I add all this*.7z;*.asf;*.avi;*.cue.ape;*.cue.flac;*.cue.mp3;*.cue.txt;*.cue.wav;*.cue.wv;*.cue.zip;*.divx;*.flv; *.log;*.mkv;*.mov;*.mpg;*.mpeg;*.qt;*.rar;*.rm;*.rmvb;*.swf;*.vob;*.wmv;*.zip That is as far as it goes for me; I don't want to filter foobar's playlist view any more than that, because _I WANT TO SEE THE ERRORS_ if they exist in my tagging and naming (and file deleting !!!). The CUE sheet (with image) specification doesn't allow as rich a tagging scheme as individual tracks, This can be a pain if you have a beautifully groomed classical music collection (composer, performer, etc etc). I get around that limitation by taking full advantage of the <COMMENTS> tag (see further down...).Here is a total example of storing a classical album: D:\music\00\composed\jascha heifetz - bach.mozart.brahms - double concertos (1956-60-61) D:\music\00\composed\jascha heifetz - bach.mozart.brahms - double concertos (1956-60-61)\ folder\archive sources.zip D:\music\00\composed\jascha heifetz - bach.mozart.brahms - double concertos (1956-60-61)\ folder\art 01.png D:\music\00\composed\jascha heifetz - bach.mozart.brahms - double concertos (1956-60-61)\ folder\art 02.png D:\music\00\composed\jascha heifetz - bach.mozart.brahms - double concertos (1956-60-61)\ folder\art 03.png D:\music\00\composed\jascha heifetz - bach.mozart.brahms - double concertos (1956-60-61)\ 01.cue D:\music\00\composed\jascha heifetz - bach.mozart.brahms - double concertos (1956-60-61)\ 01.cue.flac D:\music\00\composed\jascha heifetz - bach.mozart.brahms - double concertos (1956-60-61)\ folder.jpg D:\music\00\composed\jascha heifetz - bach.mozart.brahms - double concertos (1956-60-61)\ folder.txt The <COMMENTS> tag for the CUE sheet of the above album:<COMPOSER> Bach; Mozart; Brahms / <PERFORMER> Jascha Heifetz; Erick Friedman; William Primrose; Gregor Piatgorsky; New Symphony Orchestra of London; RCA Victor Symphony Orchestra; Malcolm Sargent; Izler Solomon; Alfred Wallenstein / <MEDIA> CD Audio (Hybrid SACD) - 2006 - Sony BMG / <RIP> Software: ExactAudioCopy v0.99pb4 (July 2009) / <DISCID> 7710AC09 I take full advantage of foobar's title formatting query syntax and the 'columns ui' filter panel. If anything unacceptable shows in my foobar playlist, I will spot it and deal with it (right-click "open containing folder" if necessary).
