F2K ASIO4ALL setup and Volume control and WASAPI

I followed the exact set up procedure for FOOBAR for ASIO4ALL
http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/221237...all-explanation

When I go into the ASIO config option I can see the HD SPEAKER LEFT and HD SPEAKER RIGHT.
when I go OK and get back I see this same ASIO config has changed to KERNEL STREAMING LEFT and KERNEL STREAMING RIGHT.

Also this ASIO4ALL is very buggy and in the configuration screen the IN USE button in ON and sometime its BLANK.

WASAPI on the other hand has been bug free and does not break down.

What am i doing wrong with the foobar setup ?
Does the volume control work when ASIO or WASAPI is engaged....for me the volume control works for both....
I tried the J RIVER MEDIA CENTER and sometimes I get a digital signal from my Computer USB2.0 to my M2TECH EVO but some other times the computer speakers are activated even though the output is directed to the ASIO4ALL.

Does anyone have comments and suggestions and help for me.

Regards

HP

There is no point in using the ASIO output with the ASIO4ALL driver because foobar2000 provides it's own kernel steaming (XP) and WASAPI (vista and Win7) output components.

Just because something is difficult to use does not mean it provides any improvements in any measure.
