iTunes multi plugin > foobar pass through in Windows 7

Hello all

Im having a problem with foobar pass through in windows 7.

Im running windows 7 64 bit ultimate > itunes 7.02.16 - multi plugin 2.5.1.0 >  foobar2000_v1.1.5 > ASIO4ALL_2_10_English (not sure if it matters, but i use onboard audio Asus P5K Premium SOUNDMAX)

When I load itunes with foobar pass through enabled, i get a message from foobar

"foobar 2000 encountered an error: internal error - one or more of the internal components have been damaged"

Ive tried reinstalling foobar and have downloaded the latest plugin components but it still happens everytime, and i can't get pass through to work.

Does anybody have any knowledge on this issue please?

Regards

Ok, a little more trouble shooting.

I have tried setting foobar with the various other audio outputs (DS: > WASAPI etc) and still get the Foobar damaged components message with pass through enabled in itunes. When I close itunes and start foobar (to adjust settings) I get a few options from a panel that says

"foobar2000 was terminated abnormally last time"

1. start foobar in safe mode
2. check the online troubleshooter
3. start foobar normally

So when I select option 2 the online help page says "no known problematic components found"

I can play music using foobar only and change the audio output settings which have the desired effect, but I can't get the foobar pass through to work., Maybe its a problem with itunes / multi plugin?
