Help converting SHN to FLAC

New to Foobar2000 and trying to convert all my SHN to FLAC b/c I bought a Squeezebox Touch and it will not play SHN but will play FLAC.

I installed the latest version of Foobar2000 and installed the shn component and flac component. I am able to play the shn files but when converting them I get this error:

15 out of 15 tracks converted with major problems.

I chose Foobar2000 because I read that it could tag and convert my shows. I would love to figure this out on Foobar2000 before giving up and going to Traders Little Helper b/c I heard that is easier.

I figured it out! I had the latest flac downloaded into my windows system folder. I found out I needed a copy of that flac also in the foobar2000 folder which I found odd b/c foobar2000 gave me the option of a flac transfer before I put that file in there???

I would think that flac shouldn't have been a convert option if the base folder wasn't in the foobar2000 folder.

Oh well. It's working now!

The converter pops up a file selection dialog if it cannot locate the decoder in the system path which was set at the time you started foobar2000. If it was failing, then it was finding a flac.exe somewhere else, which happened to be non-functional.
