EAC issue, won't recognize drive anymore

Hello all,
I'm new to HA.

Perhaps someone can help me resolving the following issue.

I wanted to rip a pregap track 0 from a CD, as a range
The drive got stuck and I had to reset the computer, tried everything else.
After restarting the computer EAC didn't show both my drives anymore, the drive field remained empty
A clean re-install didn't help too
System restore, at first the drives were visible again, afterwards I got 2 error messages:

1) "EAC could not find matching language file"
2) after that : unhandled exception: at Translation.443 > Index.range

What is going on here?
Any for of advice is highly appreciated!

Many thanks!

You mention system restore so can I assume you are on some version of Windows?

Are both drives visible and functional outside of EAC?

Also, what do you mean by "the drive got stuck"?

Yes I'm on Windows XP.

Both drives are visible and functional outside of EAC.

Sorry about my English there. The computer jammed, I think that's the right word ;-)

Thanks!!

Problem solved this way:

- No CDs can be found in any drive (or no (USB/Firewire) CD-ROM drives are listed). In this case, when using Windows 2000 or XP, download from Nero the WNASPI32.DLL ( ftp://ftp6.nero.com/wnaspi32.dll ) and put it into the directory where EAC is installed (search for EAC.EXE).
