Convert/split WV files to FLAC without cue sheet

Hi

I have a WV file and no *.cue.
How to convert/split it to, let's say, flac?

Splitting might become a problem if the wv-file does not contain an embedded cuesheet because then you'll have to find the splitting times manually or with some tool I don't know yet.
Converting to FLAC can be done as from any other format. Get the FLAC encoder, setup its path in foobar2000, right-click the files, choose Convert... and do the rest.

Just drag it into a foobar2000 playlist. If it's only one long track, it doesn't contain such a cuesheet. You can also look into the properties.

If your wave files are from complete albums, you could try searching for the equivalent cuesheets at cuesheet heaven:
