64 GB ZEN X-Fi2 and FLAC support

I want to get a player with large capacity and came across this one: ZEN X-Fi2 .

It might be a sign of getting old or lazy but I simply do not want to have to remove tracks from the player every few weeks.

The shiny Creative.com website does not specify whether FLAC support is limited or not so I now wonder if this Zen can play back e.g. FLAC 8 files without any issues? Any ideas?

Choose a lossy format and you won't have to, or have you determined though ABX testing that you have golden ears and none of the supported lossy formats are good enough?

EDIT: Since I was called out for being a troll with this post, please allow me to just explain that I (like many others) am perplexed as to why people insist on putting lossless files on a portable player.

well, it may be that person doesn't really want to transcode his (or hers) lossless collection.

Anyways, Creative site says this:

# Is ZEN X-Fi2 capable of 24-bit FLAC audio playback?
No, ZEN X-Fi2 can playback FLAC files with maximum bit rate of 1.1 Mbps, 16 bit and 48 Khz. FLAC files generated by Creative Centrale have the same specifications.

Why is it that Album Art is missing when I rip FLAC files?
Because ZEN X-Fi2 doesn't support Album Art for FLAC format. It only supports MP3 and WMA files.

Manual doesn't say anything about FLAC support nor the limitations.
