Album art stuck

Just today I noticed that the "default" album art for a couple directories of mine has become the cover of a single audio file in each directory. This happened after I accidentally started Windows media player, and it indexed my files without asking me, of course. I don't know if that's what caused it, but the files themselves seem to be unchanged (modified date remains the same) and the "new" album art doesn't show up in MP3tag. I'm really not sure if this is more of a foobar issue or WMP, but regardless it's driving me crazy.

I think WMP takes the liberty of changing folder.jpg at will, maybe foobar is loading that?

Seems that it did create folder.jpg's, but I didn't notice them initially since they were hidden files. Thanks.
