What is FLAC 1.2.1b & 1.2.1a ?

Hi,

I would know why on sourceforge.net, there 3 files for FLAC 1.2.1 (for Windows) :

- flac-1.2.1b.exe    (2007-09-17)
- flac-1.2.1a.exe    (2007-09-16)
- flac-1.2.1-win.zip (2007-09-16)

What is the difference between them ?

The .exe files are executable (double-click on them will install  them in Program files), but in reality they only unzip the files. I unzipped Flac 1.2.1b with 7-zip. But I don't understand what is the "b" and the "a".

What is FLAC 1.2.1b & 1.2.1a ?

Well, the date are different between "a" and "b", so "b" looks like it is just a slightly newer build.

B contains a fix to a minor issue regarding the default size of the padding block when the --replay-gain option is used.
