A-Squared Free false positive against Foobar2000

A-Squared Free is detecting the Foobar2000 v1.0 uninstall.exe of course this is a false positive so I'm informing everyone on here.

I've submitted the uninstall.exe file to the A-Squared developers EMSI, so hopefully it will be removed soon.

Also the VirusTotal analysis is showing F-Secure also producing a false positive.

Obviously, the solution is to just delete uninstall.exe and never remove foobar2000.

And that is just asking for trouble, since you break the "Add/Remove" functionality of Windows...>.>

Two matches on virustotal with one being "Suspicious" and another one pointing in weird direction usually means false positive.

And it looks like your AV is quite fond of flagging uninstall.exe as ALOTToolbar.
Sharing delusions since 1991.

It's actually well known for being prone to false positives so that's nothing new, however it's only a secondary backup scanner on my system.

Edit:
And as of today after at least three signature file updates it's still flagging uninstall.exe.

The false positive has been removed with the newest A-Squared Free signature file update.

Edit: Duh me. I forgot I had it excluded, so it isn't removed yet.
