FWIW, the "repeated samples" bug only affected the last track of my rip when I used Secure w/o C2 pointers enabled. Ripping that same track in pb4 using burst mode or secure w/ C2 pointers gave me the correct result. (Correct in the sense that it was the prevailing result after the bugfix in pb5, regardless of the mode) EAC detected that my drive is able to use C2 pointers.

You seem to be getting the same result with burst and secure w/o C2 pointers, and a different result with secure w/ c2. Might be unrelated.

You might want try comparing the WAVs with EAC like I suggested in post #16 of this thread?

He hasn't given us results from pb4 yet, but I think you're right: this is likely a separate problem.  Still possible that pb4 in secure mode w/o C2 pointers will give a track that is verified by AR (though ripped incorrectly because of the bug).
