Simotech DSR1 vs JFJ Easy Pro disc repair machines

I have owned a Simo DSR1 for almost 4 years.  It does a very good job of repairing badly scratched discs, although it is quite labor intensive.  I have actually owned 2 of these units the 1st unit failed when I had almost finished repairing 300 cds I had that were badly scratched. It was under warranty, I contacted the company, I had to return the damaged unit and it was replaced quickly.  The motor casing cracked around the bottom bearing causing the motor to bind up.  The 2nd unit just failed with the same problem.  I suspect these failures may be my own fault, working the machine harder than it was designed to ( I think the machine was designed to clean 1 or 2 cds at a time, not operate continuously for hours cleaning 300 cds, or even 10 cds at a time when I get them from the library.  I think this may have caused over heating and failure).  The other problem I had with the 2nd machine was that the lid is held in place by plastic pins that fit into holes in plastic tabs on the case.  One of the tabs broke so I have to hold the cover in place by hand  (also my fault from rough handling, being in a hurry, although the tabs could be heavier; they are pretty flimsy for what they have to do).  Overall I have been happy with the results from this machine I have been able to make all the cds I have repaired on it at least playable, 98% look almost new (I feel it needs to be built a little heavier overall it is not designed to be pushed hard).

I want to replace the DSR1 but I am not sure I whether to buy another DSR1 or try the JFJ Easy Pro they about roughly the same price, I don't know any thing about the JFJ unit though.  If anyone has used one, (especially longterm) I would like to hear their comments.  It would be even better to hear from someone who has used both the DSR1 and the EasyPro.
