dts in wavelab/audition yes, in foobar not

hi, sorry for my english. i'm german and leo is my friend ;-)

i read now a few hours, but not to have answer.
i have rip a wav-file from sacd with foobar(1.0b2). in wavelab and audition play this file without problems and my onkyo-reciever signalized DTS.
in foobar i use in dps the dts-decoder. in output asio m-audio delta asio. my soundcard is m-audio 2496 delta. but my sound is only normal stereo.
what remains to be done?

thank you for help.

rename this file to .dstwav and use foo_spdif instead of foo_input_dts.

ok, i remove foo_input_dts. now a message:

Unable to open item for playback (Sound card driver has refused SPDIF format!):
"L:\temp\WPDNSE\CD Track 01.dtswav"

song properties:
Quote
File Name : CD Track 01.dtswav
Sample Rate : 44100 Hz
Channels : 6
Bitrate : 1411 kbps
Codec : DTS 3/2.1 (5.1) 14bit LE
Encoding : lossy

play as wav, then only noise.

in foobar is output m-audio delta asio.

help please.

I use foo_input_dts, but all my dts files have the .dts extension, not .dtswav. Not sure if that makes any difference, but you can try.

i try wav, flac, dts and dtswav, but only in wavelab and audition signalized my reciever DTS. i think, the problem is not essentiel the files, but rather foobar with own plugins.

Try foo_spdif, taking out foo_input_dts, with direct sound or other output instead of asio. I don't have problems sending dts signal to my receiver through foobar2000

Perhaps your sound card only accepts 48kHz signals on the S/PDIF output, so you might need to use the resampler.

i have solved the problem:

-no dsp's
-output asio m-audio delta asio
-spdif: enable spdif for dts file extension and use directsound

and

-volume level slider set it to max!

i thank you for help.

ps: another question: why is kerneloutput without funktion? incompatible with xp sp3? or kernel.dll incompatible with foobar 1.0?
