automated burn of FLAC cd-image for Mac ad PC ?

Hi,
I'm looking for a way to send clients a flac cd-image over the Internet so they can burn their own ref-cd for approval. My guess is that it shouldn't be too difficult but since I'm not a programmer, I thought this might be the place to ask for help
The requirements:
I'm using XLD (Mac) to convert a DDP-image to a flac/cue image. The client should be able to burn this file as simple but also as reliable as possible.

Mac: AFAIK this should be possible by packing the flac/cue files into a dmg image. When the client opens the dmg image he should be able to burn the image with cdrdao which is supposedly installed on every OSX system, right ?
Would it be possible to include a small applescript file that would burn the cd ? It should also work on a system where flac hasn't been installed yet.

PC: Is it possible to have a similar solution for PC users without the need to install (free) applications they don't really need ?

Thanks for your help.
