Crackle on mp3 files

Some original CD tracks, e.g. Dilemma - Nelly, have a crackle sound effect at the beginning of the song. I've seen this in other tracks where it isn't in the original recording but results from the ripping process.

I'm looking to validate whether there is original CD crackle on the following:

Video - India.Arie
No More Drama - Mary J. Blige
Lose Yourself - Eminem
I Can - Nas
Sick of Being Lonely - Field Mob
Breathe - Telepopmusik

What program are you using to rip (and what settings)?
Is it in the ripped wave or only afetr encoding?

I don't have the problem on my rips. I use EAC and LAME insane. My problem is with downloaded files. Since I don't have the original CDs I can't tell whether the crackle is true or bogus digital errors. I had someone listen to Dilemma on the Nelly CD and it has the crackle effect. Not sure exactly what the artists are attempting to convey with the vinyl effect on CD tracks.

I've got nothing against file-sharing, but this forum does, so I hope these are legally downloaded mp3's.

Me neither... Especially in R&B music...
