EAC no Audio CD Detected

Hey everyone, new to the site, but figured this might be the best place to post this question.  I'm having trouble ripping one CD in particular.

I'm using EAC .99 prebeta 5 from 4.

When I insert this particular CD (Maylay Sparks, Graymatter), the freedb splash comes up, and the tracks and their run time etc. show up.  But, it says, "No Audio CD in Drive."  I can't perform any action on the CD after the track detection.

Now, I'm sure this is an audio CD, as i've played it in basic CD players.

Also, I've found other posts saying that you need to grab an external aspi.  I've done that.  I have also tried to read the CD on both my laptop's drive, and my desktop's drive.  Same situation both times.  I'm also running anyDVD, having purchased it in the hopes of fixing this issue and future problems, but to no avail.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Lunchbox22

Is this CD a copy-protected one?

Go to EAC Options->Interface, choose "Native Win32 interface for Win NT/2000/XP (Win NT/2000/XP/Vista)" and restart EAC.
Hope that helps!
