Converting APE with Foobar2000

After downloading some APE files from link removed I have trouble with some of the APE files.  When converting APE to Lame Mp3 I generally have no issues.  However, when I add some files to the Foobar2000 player and then the CUE file that will show all tracks, I get an error for all files.  I tried to re-download the file but that made no difference. Any suggestions?

And that error would be?

(I suspect it's a broken cue file with an invalid file path, check if the file name inside the cue is exactly the same as the real audio file. But that is only a guess, since you provided so little information.)

When I download APE files from Allflac.com some of them will not play on my foobar2000.  Maybe I am doing it wrong, but most work.  After I extract the downloaded file I click on the APE file (which has the entire recording on one file) and it will begin to play on foobar2000.  But when I click on the Cue file to get the get the listing of all the tracks I get the following message below.  I do not know where or how to change any of the extensions as mentioned earlier on a previous topic.  Thanks.

Open the .cue file with Notepad.

Change the line beginning with FILE

Just change "the extension" and it will work:
