internet radio with foobar2000?

Hi!

Is it possible to broadcast currently playing songs, to make foobar2k into an internet radio station player (like shoutcast does for winamp)?  What plugins are necessary it it is possible?

thanks in advance,

If you install the Icecast server you can use the Vorbis Streamer component to push you foobar tracks to the Icecast server.

That's a pretty simple solution, and Icecast is great.

Edit: I see it can stream to a Shoutcast server also.  I prefer Icecast though.

You provide the foobar component, Vorbis Streamer, with the details of your Icecast server in a nice little dialogue in Preferences.

You then play tracks in foobar, Vorbis Streamer streams the to the Icecast server, and you can listen to your Icecast server across the network (or WAN).

I've used Edcast to stream to a shoutcast station for several years now, works great.
