you should download the lossless dlls for oggdrop from the Rare Wares mirror one site. If you use flac or wav as source material, you shouldn't need these dlls.

here you can get the lpac dll

fragtal

I downloaded it to give it a try and it also came up with this error on start up.

I didn't look into it but i presumed that the latest compile was an executable only and should be copied over the executable of an earlier (full version).

This might be wrong, i didn't check it out any further though.

Cheers,
Kristian

Sorry, everyone!!    I managed to save the projects without saving the delayload directive to the linker.

New compiles uploaded - same version number, but compile date is 5 March.

Yes, I did. I was making some use the Intel floating point maths libs and they were the cause of the problem. I've gone back to the standard VC libs which removes the problem, but does knock a little of the speed off too. Odd that it hadn't showed up before, though.

.10 was just a code improvement and cleanup exercise. No new features.

I heard UPX make problems for XP SP1 with AMD processors. Phoenix browser (Polish version) is now non-UPXed because of problems. John - maybe some of crashes was because of UPX?

You may be right. Anyone with XP-SP1 on AMD getting any problems ATM?

People are lazy. Just relase .11 not UPXed and wait for crash reports.

To all crash reports system info should be always added.

Thanks - I haven't found any other report of this though, and not a word in UPX's forum.

Maybe guys from mozillapl are wrong...

EDIT: I`m ivestigating UPX and MozillaPL. I`ll write results.

EDIT2: Mozilla.exe was UPXed and it crashed on some computers. After unpacking it, it stopped crashing...but packing again didn`t  caused crashes again. Strange. John: Just for sure, relase not upxed version and wait for feedback.

V1.6.11 uploaded and available at 'ogg vorbis' Mirror 1. Fixes a memory leak I discovered and improves (I think) the progress display.

Try these:

OggdropXPd v1.6.11

OggdropXPd v1.6.11 [Pentium 4]

The links have been updated, but the page text hasn't.

Edit: Changed quote date and time to ISO 8601 format.

hm btw: i thought the libmod.dll always has to be in the directory of oggdropxpd.exe. with .11 it works without the libmod.dll

did i miss something ?

SOrry about that. I fixed it. Just had to clean out the old oggdropxpd folder. Seems like the old dll's caused it to crash or something, hehe

New compiles with the latest CVS coming up very soon.
