MusicBee v0.3 - a music manager and player

MusicBee is a music manager and player I have written with a number of features described on the website. Version 0.3 beta is now available with the following new features and changes:
- iPhone/ iTouch support
- Artwork-only layout (just shows album covers and basic album details)
- Play History tab
- Undo/ Redo function for the now playing list
- Multiple Column sorting (using the Ctrl-mouse click action)
- Track Information tab in the now playing list, which can be configured for the tags it displays
- New Mini-player controls such as Show/Hide Now Playing List button
- Improve compatability of Vorbis Comment tags with other tagging tools
- Various GUI fixes
- Various performance improvements

The full install is on the MusicBee website or if you have already installed v0.3 then copy the files from http://www.mediafire.com/?hdm3ghwzyyy

When upgrading from 0.2, for one time only you need to do a full install - this is because many of the components are newer versions. After doing the full install, you can copy the MusicBee.exe file only for subsequent updates.

Any constructive comments about the functionality or issues using the application are welcome.

Thank you for update.

Do you plan to fix soon the problem with Bitrate displayed for musepack files? Now it always shows "Lossless".
I have some questions about tagging of mp3.
Is it possible to change/add behavior when adding ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags so that ID3v2 to be added only in case that ID3v1 is not capable to store longer tags?
Also, do you think to add APE/APEv2 tags support for mp3 files? This is pretty common nowadays, foobar2000, Winamp, mp3tag etc. already support it.
And, would you add musepack to the list of file converters?

~~

its possible but to be honest i dont understand the point of this given the very tiny size being saved (and with file data being clustered anyway its possible you wont save space at all)

Also, do you think to add APE/APEv2 tags support for mp3 files? This is pretty common nowadays, foobar2000, Winamp, mp3tag etc. already support it.

sure - it already reads/writes apev2 for other formats so could be easily added for mp3 files

And, would you add musepack to the list of file converters?

i'm not familar with the encoder but as long as it supports stdin for input then I can easily do it

Thank you for fast update!

Well, maybe just a habit. If you don't have other requests about this feature, don't bother with it.

Just be careful when you have ID3v1 and APE tags, ID3v1 should be at the end of file. I don't want to teach you, just I've had some troubles in the past with apps that attach APE tags after the existing ID3v1.

Thanks a lot.

So far (after MAC development discontinued) I haven't used some music organizer exclusively, maybe MusicBee will become my new favorite one.

Cheers

I'm starting development to support ASIO output. As I don't have an ASIO soundcard myself I am wanting anyone interested to let me know here or by PM.
I can develop and test using an ASIO emulator. I just need someone to confirm it works OK on a real ASIO soundcard. With no unexpected problems I should have it ready by the end of the weekend.
