EAC LOG converter (Like Cuetools but for LOG)

Does any program exist to convert between a separate tracks EAC LOG to single file EAC LOG ? & to convert between french EAC LOG to english EAC LOG ? my early rips where done in french with separate files I would like to have them all in single file+english without doing it manually (in order to search inside the log easyly) ?

Why is an EAC Log so important to you and what do you gain combining seperatate files to a single one? Am I missing something?

from a quality/technical point of view it will bring me nothing ... it is only to format all my collection the same way ... I don't use separate tracks since several years now as I don't want to deal with tags when I mass transcode ... it will just bring me a cleaner collection which is more enjoyable IMHO.

Try to understand a japanese or russian EAC log & then maybe you will understand why it may be usefull

I can't imagine such software existing with exception to some translation software. Think about the complexity and scale of such a task also of writing a piece of software to do that. Excuse me for sounding like a typical American, besides for your own personal benefit of having piece of software that's translated in your own langauge. Everything should be in English. It's Universal (Watch I will get 600 PM's flaming me over that comment). That's just my personal opinion. I am not trying to arrogant just honest.

I took some begineer Japanese it's not to bad once you learn three different forms of vocabulary. The only time you see Russian EAC log is on a website that's selling pirated copies of lossless files  (Trust me I have seen quite a few the one's that "claim" to be legal).

EAC has different language files that have a 1:1 relationship and are even numerically sorted.  Translation should be extremely simple.

In fact, I think I know an online site that can do this for you.  Let me see...

...well it doesn't look like it is up.  I think it can do what you want, hopefully it will come back online in the future.

In what way is tagging or having tags different when comparing separate tracks to a single file?

I don't have to understand japanese or russion EAC logs as they aren't my languages. But still, having an EAC log isn't important to me because when my rip has finished I see the Test and Copy CRC's on EAC main window and know whether rip was correct or not.

I don't use TAGs at all since the day I switched to single file+CUE so it is different in the way that I don't even have to think about it ... TAGs don't exist anymore for me ... I delete them on sight ... tagging has always been a waste of time for me. It depends on your storage strategy ... if you use TAGs it's your choice ... don't blame me for not using them anymore ...

I keep the log because without it I wouldn't know between my EAC rip & my old non secure rip ... if you rip audio since 3 months maybe as a newbie you don't see the difference ... EAC didn't exist when I started ripping audio using CDex a looong time ago ... again I could use tag & delete log ... but I consider keeping log & deleting tag a better strategy ... don't blame me just because you don't use your audio like I do ...

IMHO the log is there to record what occurred when you ripped the CD.

Editing any log to make it look like you did something that you didn't is inherently wrong in my book.

Thks for the link but the translation is so inaccurate (partial) that it is useless for me ... I hope it would be directly included in EAC

Can't you do your own translation? Should be trivial if you open tthe two different languages side by side. Also, there should be apps out there that edit all files in a directory.
