Request: CUE Splitter

hi,

i always use this nice little program to split the CUE files:

Is it possible to make a plugin fo foobar that can do the same?

Split CUE-FLAC(etc.) without re-encoding them?

foobar's Converter will do this.  Just drag the cue into a playlist and the separate tracks will be displayed.  Select the tracks to convert and then choose Convert from the context menu.  I'm currently working with Ubuntu so can't be more specific.

You may be concerned that Converter somehow implies a transcode; however if you have a lossless source and you use Converter to convert to a lossless source - including FLAC to FLAC - the conversion will be lossless.
I'm on a horse.

Sorry for jumping in. I'd like to be able to do the opposite. Load a single flac or wave file and be able to define cue points to transcode just a part of the original file. I am not looking for the preview but user definable time range or ability to spli the whole file into cues. I know this is very unlikely to be possible it's why I haven't posted a new thread. I have just added it to as an addition to something else which is also very unlikely to happen.

i share your idea and i think you should have posted it in a new thread because it's possible and useful

also a CUE splitter/editor would be nice - not to use to many programs for repeated posts here on fb2k forum like CUE problems

Yes, i know that this way is possible, but Medvieal Cue Splitter split the files WITHOUT re-rendering the file, so to split the files only cost 5 secounds and re rendering file isnt a choice if you have cue files with mp3.

Load cue file into playlist, then select all songs and write APL link files (context menu - Utils).
Load APL files into playlist and work with it as single files.  You can edit it's tags, play it separately and input flac or ape file not changed.
