Uploaded zip file corrupt on download

I wanted to post a regular zip file as attachment, and if i download it through the attachment link in the post, it appears corrupted. tried repacking, uploading and downloading multiple times, the same thing happens every time. the file on my hdd seems to be perfectly fine, 925 bytes, after upload it says 925 bytes, after download, it is 876 bytes and corrupted. although, total commander opens it, and there is one 925 byte file inside, if i unpack it and rename it to .zip, it is the original valid zip file.

i removed the zip attachment and uploaded a 7z version instead, which appears to be working fine.

what is up with the zip attachment?

Do you have any antivirus running on your PC?
