Flac Album Art

I've got a fairly large FLAC collection (approx. 300 albums) which I use for backup purposes and lossless playback using my Squeezebox. I also have these albums in MP3 format for playback on my Mac/iPod. All my MP3 have embedded album art using the iTunes album art function.

My question is whether there are means to add album art to my FLAC collection by using the MP3 library as the source.

It can be done.

I use Tag & Rename, although I am sure if can be done with some of the freeware alternatives. You would need to extract the album art from the embedded files. This will write a file, usually "folder.jpg" into the album's folder.

That file could then be embedded into your FLAC archive.

I don't know if there is another way to do it that would be more streamlined.

Thanks. Is extracting the album art from the embedded files a one-step process, or do I have to do this one-by-one?

[Update] I've found this wonderful script http://dougscripts.com/itunes/scripts/ss.php?sp=savealbumart which exports the iTunes album art in the [album name] - [artist] format. I hope someone can give me some help how to include these files in my FLAC folders which has the following structure artist\album (year)\ followed by the .cue file and single flac file.
