Hi,

pretty often I see pictures floating around in the web, not sure if we also had a thread here, pictures of owls, sometimes cats, with "O rly" written there. As a non native speaker, my question is, what's so funny about it and why? Can someone explain? Maybe there's some background. Or is it funny because it is funny?

fascinating how much meaning can a faceless birdy face have. Make me think what they really thought at that moment, probably;

'I better back up, this guy with the camera is way to close'


'ok, look, i haven't eat for at least 2 hours and now you want to make pictures, i can do you some damage there, go away'

'I just hate daylight and this camera guys'
