Adjusting for screen resolution 1600x1200 to 1200x800

Hi,

I wasn't sure if this belongs in the 3rd party plugins... If so I apologize, mods please move it...

I am installing my config file from my desktop to my laptop.  Desktop is running at 1600x1200 screen resolution and this is how I configured my foobar.  Nothing fancy, just a couple of trackinfo boxes.  When I export this file to my laptop which supports a max rez about 1200x800, the foobar gets stretched and goes  way off to the right of the screen, losing quite a bit of info.  I have the latest version.

Thanks!

Reconfigure it so it fits 1280, or buy a better computer.

What UI are you using? If it's Columns UI, you should just be able to maximize the window, and then adjust the panels by dragging the splitter borders. If it's Panels UI, it's unsupported, and I don't think we're even aloud to talk about that component here (and I don't think there is an active place where it CAN be talked about).

If it is indeed Panels UI you are using, there are a few things you can do to make your config dynamically resize for the monitors resolution (that's what I have done in my layout, and it works wonderfully) but I can't talk about then here I think .

Thank you for the help...

Can't buy another laptop, this is a one year old one.  Can you believe that for $800 they do not give you a better resolution??  I looked at all the other specs except this.  But anyways, back to foobar...

No I am not using Panels UI.  Just Coumns UI with one track info and one track info mod windows open.  I was hoping    foobar has a function that will automatically resize everything, but it seems that I'll have to go in the config and readjust fonts and everything else.

Thanks again!

if you're using CUI you can define layout presets to meet you needs whatever thay are (ex. resolution)
