EAC automatic logging - log's filename naming scheme ?

Hallo all !

I have configured EAC to automatically produce a .log file after extraction (Automatically write status report after extraction) - it seems that EAC uses :

"CD Artist"- "CD Title"

as the title of the log, as these appear on the upper right corner of the ripping window- can this be configured someplace (I want to include the "Year" field) ?

Thanks for any suggestions

This can't be configured within EAC.

Perhaps you can have the log automatically renamed after the rip is complete using something like React or Mareo, but I'm not sure.

As greynol says, REACT could do this, but it may be overkill for you.

Doesn't EAC name the log files consistent to the WAV/CUE files since version 0.99?

When you are being asked where to save the WAV file (in case of "Copy Image"), then the basename you enter will also be used for the CUE and LOG file. "Artist - Abum" is merely the default suggestion in that case, but you can change it and EAC will adapt to your wish, but I doubt it also works this way with Copy Selected Tracks.

In essence, EAC will use the image name in image mode; however in track mode it will use "<artist> - <album>.log".  Illegal characters are replaced with a space.

@Udun, Fandango is talking about the dialogue that appears after you choose to rip to image+cue.  If you are ripping to tracks you won't see this.
