Capture sound from a windows device and play it back in realtime

Hi.

I recently decided to re-install my TV-tuner, and noticed my audio loopback cable is missing.

I noticed the card software installed a mixer device, called like the name of the card, but it only has recording, no playback [used for capturing the audio of the channel when you are recording.] and then i downloaded and launched DSCALER.

Well, DSCALER can playback that audio from the card's mixer device, but is not fully compatible with my card, and a bit unstable.

The tv software seems to record TV sound when the tuner mixer device is selected in the recording settings, but doesnt seem to have an option to switch the audio source

Long story short, my question to you is: Is there any program that will capture the sound from that mixer device and play it back so i can use it when watching tv with my regular TV software?

Thanks alot.
Adrian

Have you tried Graphedit?  You should be able to connect the recording device to the audio renderer.

Could also use Winamp + a 3rd party linein plugin (i forget the name) + really small in/out buffers.

Or you could go buy a new cable. (~$3)

A line-in plugin would not work, because the sound is feeded into the system through the PCI port, and managed through the mixer.

Buying  a new cable would be the best solution i think.

Thanks for the reply
