FLAC - playback speed too fast (chipmunking)

Hi, I am hoping someone can help.

My flac codec has started playing all my music at double speed and I cannot understand why.

I am running vista business edition and playing thru windows media player 11. I have tried to play thru a different player and get the same result.

I have never had a problem with this codec before. I tried to slow down the music playback in WMP options with no change. When I try OGG it works fine, and its the same codec which was downloaded from:

Directshow Filters for Ogg Vorbis, Speex, Theora and FLAC
http://www.illiminable.com/ogg/

I tried to reinstall it with no results. I also tried my sound card settings without resuts.

Anyone had a similar problem or a suggestion?

I have a similar problem. Was playing FLAC files using the illiminable codecs, but WMP11 crashed when I tried to use the progress bar. Then installed a more recent (unstable) version of the codecs, and now it plays everything about 4x too fast ! Haven't found a fix yet.
