SoundMAX Digital Audio build-in laptop soundcard

Hi, everybody

Currently I own laptop with build-in SoundMAX Digital Audio soundcard. However, the problem is that I cannot find what is the maximum bit depth supported by the card. I tried referring to laptop's documentation and searching the net, but no luck.

Anybody knows any software or any other ways to determine the max depth?

First determine which chip is used in your laptop. (starting with AD... )

than search and download the chip's data sheet.
