My Review of the Cowon/iAudio D2

The short version: I love it.

The long version: I really do love it.

Nice review naylor83.. I own one and I'm very happy with it, a couple of +/- points I've found:

+ - Sound quality is excellent.
+ - Battery life outstanding.
- -  It doesn't do gapless. (hopefully one day)
- - The OGG vorbis decoder doesn't seem to like my style of music. I can hear artifacts on my tracks.

I've got around the two negatives by encoding whole albums as a single mp3 file.

mr budzone - Cowon have just added musepack support to their A2 player, it doesn't work on the D2 though  Fingers crossed, it will be added in a future firmware...

Could you be a nice little angel and check how it plays musepack files? =)

I'd be happy to, but judging from what stel says here it probably won't do much good. You could always email me one at naylor83@gmail.com.

Do *any* Cowon devices support gapless?  I like Cown but that is not a feature they've rushed to implement and they've been making DAPs for a while.
