'Next' and 'Previous' buttons in foobar2000 properties

As the title says: is it possible to get 'next' and 'previous' buttons in the foobar2000 properties panel? Next wud go to the next song in the playlist, and previous to the previous one ofcourse

Is it possible to add those buttons somewhere left from the 'Ok' button?

Ive noticed that the foo_infobox has a previous and next button, but i want to keep the interface from the standard foobar2000 panel as it is.

You don't really need such buttons!

Try this:

Select all tracks you like to edit, call the properties window, mark all tags you like to edit by ctrl&leftclick, then rightclick a field and choose "edit". See what happens!

That's another way of doing it, but it's not the same thing.  I'm pretty sure the OP's request was raised before, i.e. for the 0.9 properties dialog to have the same next/previous functionality as ol' rusty foo_infobox (pretty much the only thing left that foo_infobox has that properties doesn't).  I think it'd be a nice feature also.

Hi I realize I'm bumping an old thread, but I had this same issue. The official foobar FAQ has this to say:

Q: Can I have 'Previous' / 'Next' buttons in the Properties dialog, to go to properties of previous / next track in my playlist?
A: No. If you want to edit tags of multiple tracks, you can do it more efficiently by just selecting them all and opening the Properties dialog for them.

This is simply not true. If I have to edit the Title tag for a sequence of tracks, this can not be done by doing a select all and editing the properties for the batch of files.

Without the next/previous buttons, you must type the title, select ok to save the changes, locate the next track in this list, potentially losing your way if it is a long list of files and open a new properties dialogue to make the next edit. Doing a select all and editing the properties of the files is not an "efficient" way of editing fields that are unique to each track, such as the title. The way it is now is tedious and unnecessary, especially when I can remember using the next/previous function in old beta versions of foobar.

Open Preferences and double click on the "Track Title" (at the left column). Or "rightclick a field and choose "edit"", as q-stankovic suggested in post #2 (year 2007).

MarchHare: I think it's you who is wrong, look:
First select the files you want to edit, open the properties window, double click for example the title row (i.e. tag name) or select multiple (or one) row and right click:

Then you'll see this (with the selected rows as colums):

You can easily edit all values in a sequence of steps.

Nowadays there's even a "tools" button which duplicates the functionality to make things more accessible for new users who don't right-click around, apparently that's still not good enough. It seems people tend to happily ignore any built-in help features as well.
Microsoft Windows: We can't script here, this is bat country.
