I Need Some Major MP3Gain Help

I had the same problem about a year ago, my computer crashed and I lost everything including MP3Gain, once I downloaded it again I got this message

"Some Microsoft files used by MP3Gain are missing or out-of-date on your system.
You will probably need to go back to the MP3Gain website and download the "full" installer before MP3Gain will work


Would you like to install MP3Gain right now ?"

I remember talking to someone on another computer message board that isn't around anymore and somebody was nice enough to  pretty much help me  step by step until I got it working again. At first there was some talk about needing a disc and stuff but if I remember correctly I didn't end up needing it after all. Anyway once again my computer crashed and I just downloaded the Normal MP3Gain install for version 1.2.5 which is the one I need and just like last time I get the same message after I try opening it.  So if anyone knows a lot about MP3Gain and has the time to help me out with this I would really appreciate it. I'm not very good with computers so stuff like this is pretty hard for me to understand.
