latest mpeg4 audio (m4a) plugin for winamp

i'm still using audiocoding in_mp4 2.1b plugin and i was trying to find something newer and maybe better.
is there any plugin which development is still alive?
Open Source is the only source!

What's wrong with the plugin that comes with Winamp? I assume that one is being developed (Look at the history)
Can't wait for a HD-AAC encoder :P

I may be biased, but it's been a while since the FAAD-based mp4 plugin had any advantages over the native Winamp mp4 plugin.  At one point, the major advantage was HE-AAC decoding, but that was corrected in Winamp almost a year ago.  The in_mp4 plugin in the next version of Winamp (5.25) will have optional 24bit decoding, replay gain support, and gapless playback (iTunes and FAAC compatible), which should certainly make it more featurefull than the audiocoding version.
