mp3 file on a personnal ftp servor :

Hi,
I have some mp3s from my band available on a personnal ftp servor. To upload, I use FireFTP on Firefox and Filezilla.
We would like to modify the tags of our files without having to reupload all of them.
Does anybody know if it's possible ? My search in HA was not successful.

you should search for file transfer protocol information everywhere else, but not on HA, this is not the place where you can expect to get results from a search for that questions.

And yes, you have to reupload the complete files.

If you can run scripts on the server, there could be a possibility.

You could try this PHP script.

As long as a software like UltraEdit can modify files without having to reupload them, why would not I be able to change a part of a mp3 file ?
