Creative Mp3 player - studders

I have been capturing streams using software called "Net Transport" which downloads and saves the stream exectly as it is (no transcoding required).

The stream I am saving is in WMA, 64kbps at 48000khz.

Last week I purchased an mp3 player in the hopes of loading the files into the portable for easy playback.  No way - not at 48000khz!

Does anyone have knowledge of an mp3 player (which plays wma's) that can handle this odd killohertz?  Is transcoding to 441000 the only solution?

Maybe Trekstor i.Beat drive.

P.S. If you already purchased a MP3 Player, why don't simply transcode instead of searching for another one?
