New WMA Codec in Windows Vista Build 5308

Hello!

As you might know already, I am planing to conduct a new multiformat listening test at ~48 kbps and was hoping to be able to include the new WMA codec that is shipped with Windows Vista Build 5308. Therefore, I kindly invite Microsoft to give me the permission to test the new encoder against a variety of other contenders, including HE-AAC and Ogg Vorbis, and also to publically disclose the results of the blind test.

Regards,
Sebastian

No, but certain HA users have connections to MS.

How new WMA sounds comparing to WMA 9.1, HE-AAC,  Aotuv Vorbis?
Can you upload some samples?

It's better one time to see/ to hear for itself than to be informed.

I was hoping that Ivan or Gabriel could post a link to this thread to a MS newsgroup.
